Salamanca Place is famous for it’s historic buildings, which now offer an extensive shopping experience. You can find art, books, clothes, fresh food, wine, crafts and all things Tasmanian in the precinct. Happily there are some fantastic cafes to have rest along the way. Enjoy the sights, sounds, flavours, action, taste and colour of Australia’s best outdoor market, every Saturday from 8.30am to 3pm. Proudly operated by the City of Hobart, over 300 stalls line the cobbled streets to sell fresh and gourmet produce, arts, crafts and other novelty items.
