Supreme Court Appeal

As reported in the Mercury today, an appeal has been lodged with the Supreme Court of Tasmania in regard to the recent Resource Management Planning Appeals Tribunal decision approving the project.

That appeal now removes the certainty that our company had recently gained from the Tribunal decision.  We intend to take all steps available to defend the permit granted through the Tribunal process and have appointed legal representation for the Supreme Court matter. We are obviously frustrated by the process and believe that the opportunity of any start has now been lost.

The viability of the development and our preparedness to move forward with the project is a matter that our company is currently considering.
